My Regency dance teacher (and friend) Susan wrote a post in her dance blog, Capering and Kickery, called Real Regency Dancers Don't Turn Single: Ten Tips for Judging Authenticity. In addition to being a handy guide for dancers and anyone who wants to see if the movies got it right, I think it might come in useful for Regency romance writers with ballroom scenes.

Drive by shooting, but really it was "drive by post", with dance modifying post. Grammar is fun!
