stakebaitFinally I can get broadband! Verizon to offer DSL for $14.95 a month. Which is about eight bucks less than I'm paying Earthlink for dialup. It's a pity, because Earthlink has been that rare joy, a provider so glitchless as to be almost unnoticed. But faster and affordable wins.
Also, d'oh. Oh noes, says Mer, I can't try to go to the Serenity press screening tonight because I'm having dinner with Mom. Who is a huge Firefly fan and is bringing my DVDs to dinner to give back. Yeah, it took me 12 hours to figure out the solution to this conflict. Because I am smart like rock.
