If you happen to be working on some creative writing project, post exactly one sentence from each of your current work(s) in progress in your journal. It should probably be your favourite or most intriguing sentence so far, but what you choose is entirely your discretion. Mention the title (and genre) if you like, but don't mention anything else. This is merely to whet the general appetite for your forthcoming work(s).

From Broken Glass Slippers: Ella wondered if it was bad manners to look a gift mermaid in the mouth, but the girl didn’t seem to mind.

From The Middle Prince: "I can turn lead into a little less lead," said the middle prince, who wasn't very good at alchemy.

That is a pretty funny line. It witty and shows a light hearted attitude.
No I'm wondering what brought him to say that. :)

So will we LJers get to see the finished work or will you be keeping it a state secret? :>

I'm hoping to publish it professionally, so posting it could screw that up. If I fail to sell it I'll post it eventually, because I'm an exhibitionist like that, but otherwise eventually there'll be an announcement of where you can actually buy it -- unless my publisher gives permission to post it free online for publicity, which I'd like to do.

Ok, cool. I'll keep an eye out for that then. I'll be more than happy to give you some of my money. :D

Count me among the others who adore this line.

That's fabulous! I feel repetitive saying that, but it made me smile while I'm tired from cooking and I'm hungry and the food isn't even done yet, so it definitely deserved comment from me. :)

*grin* Really, I don't mind the repetition. It's always nice to hear, thanks.

Hello. You're receiving this email because you're a friend of [livejournal.com profile] kita0610. [livejournal.com profile] gia6seconds and I are putting together the Kita Fanlisting, and we need your help. What we're looking for is little blurbs about why you love Kita; it can be why you love her as a person, why you love her writing, anything you want. These blurbs -- along with your name and contact information -- will be posted in a "Why We Love Kita" section of the fanlisting as soon as it goes up. You can just reply to this comment with the blurbs if you'd like to participate, or you can email me at carlyinrome@gmail.com (mailto:carlyinrome@gmail.com?subject=Kita)

Thank you for your time, and for helping us make Kita's fanlisting
worthy of her.

Blessed be,
Lamia Archer

P.S. The fanlisting isn't complete yet, but when we finish it, she'll be at http://chosesenfics.com/kitafan/

Not my thing, sorry. I love Kita, but as a friend, not a fan.
