Been reading The Fat Girl’s Guide to Life, by Wendy Shanker. ( Contains spoilers, if you can spoil nonfiction )

A little while ago, oracne pointed to mommybird who wanted to know about books we reread. It got me thinking that the perfect book, for me, is one that strikes a balance between shaking me up and calming me down, between revelation and comfort.
