trinker. Quite apart from the *shudder* value, how does that even work? The Court holds the law unconstitutional and then Congress invokes the law to say they're wrong? After 200+ years the American legal system eat its own tail, film at 11.
Minsters charged with solemnizing weddings without a license. Thanks to
thebratqueen for the link. The really fun part of this story is that ministers have been marrying gay couples for years. But these ministers are being criminally charged for *thinking the marriage would count legally* as they did it.
Sweden poised to recognize gay marriage, replacing a law that already allowed civil unions with full rights. Yay Sweden!
