Jan. 10th, 2004 12:05 pmInteresting how watching vids makes me notice different things. I'm usually so focused on the words that, while I don't ignore the visuals, I don't notice as much. heresluck's lovely Come On, and I noticed how many symbolic hands there are in the Jossverse. I'd forgotten about the glowy clasped hands of the Faith in Buffy spell. There's the burning Buffy/Spike last handholding. There's Jasmine and Connor in the give me your pain scene. There's the ( minor spoiler for Destiny ). There's Lindsay and the Evil Hand, if you want to be silly. And I'm sure tons more that I can't remember. If I could vid, I'd be tempted to put all these together, to that Jewel hands song that's one of my guilty pleasures or to Ani DiFranco's Both Hands.
Edited to Add Duh! Buffy and Spike in the cut up hands scene from the season 6 opener. There's also various hands coming out of graves and the weird jiggly hands Fred found at the end of season 4 ATS, but that might be *too* silly.
