New Jersey Senate approves giving legal rights to same sex couples. The Governor is expected to sign the bill into law. It's domestic partnership, not marriage, but I'm told it's the first state to do so without a counterveiling marriage-is-one-man-and-one-woman law. Yay for the state of my birth, and yay for yesthattom and everyone else who worked to make it happen.

Bush to announce major space plans. He wants to establish a base on the moon as a prelude to sending humans to Mars. This is one of the very, very few things that the president and I agree on. Essentially it's this, fighting AIDS in Africa, a few sentences from his England speech, and "pretzels taste good."

Forget $3,400 to have dinner with James Marsters. Anybody want to club together and buy The National Lampoon Comedy Staff on eBay? For real. It's only $400/hour. We could get 400 fans to chip in a buck each, right?
