I'm going after all! Not Friday night, but Sat.-Mon. God bless business trips during the week instead of on the weekend!
The plan is to promote the heck out of Accidental Heroes, inasmuch as we can pull things together at this late date. Our director and producer are coming too.
Would any of my GM friends be willing to run an Accidental-Heroes themed game, either in our room or the gaming room? I can bring the books for Mutants and Masterminds, which the folks at Green Ronin was kind enough to donate, but Aberrant, Marvel Super Heroes, or GURPS would work too.
Does anyone have a room in the party block that we could use to hold a party? This may not be necessary; we're taking over the Hyatt room of some friends who can't make it, but I don't know yet if it is party block or quiet block. We're not planning anything drastic, just decorations and snacks and computer screens showing you-know-what. I'm thinking Sunday night -- less competition -- but Saturday could be managed if that's what works.
We've got postcards and temporary tattoos in progress, along with a last minute offer to program just on the off-chance. Can anyone else think of anything clever and promotional and not too expensive? Suggestions gratefully accepted.
