"-ly" is not a four letter word

Adverbs are a perfectly legitimate part of speech, and it is just as silly to maintain that good writers should (almost) never use them as it would be to declare all pronouns off-limits.

My room at Mom of Mer's has been papered with a fresh green damask and is now like sleeping in a treehouse, only without the pesky drafts and fear of heights. We finished watching Firefly -- mom is bummed there is no more, but not, I think, ready for fanfic.

buffybot's parents' house as I now have for 17 years! I feel old, but in a good way. It's always nice to see my extra family. Yay, continuity and matzah ball soup.

I'm not keeping leavenless for Pesach this year. Not sure why -- but then I was never quite sure why I started, after 9/11, so if this year I'm not feeling it that seemed like enough of a reason not to.
