US Publishers Can No Longer Publish Foreign Dissidents Without Government Approval.
You might've heard about that crazy "ban and bury all the gay books" guy? I never got around to linking to him, because while it was upsetting, I figured hey, an elected lone crackpot is still a lone crackpot. Well, he's not looking so lonely today. 'Cause apparently Bush is meeting with him.
Arrgh! Should I be scared now? Is it time yet? Besides sending more money to the ACLU, writing my representatives, and voting whenever possible, any ideas what useful thing I can do?
Maybe it's time to give that moving to Canada thing a little more thought. While we're losing our gorram minds they're making gay marriage possible.
